FAQ’s

How many people will your boat hold?

Our 22’ Skeeter boat will accommodate up to 4 anglers, but we can make arrangements to accommodate larger groups and corporate outings by coordinating with other guides in the area. Give us a call if you have a larger group.

Do I need a Minnesota fishing license?

Yes, you need a current Minnesota fishing license in order to fish, however, you do not need a Canadian passport.

Why is there a charge extra for gas and bait?

The answer is quite simple. Because we are honest. We could just add a flat fee to cover gas and bait, but it is better for you when we bill them separately. The gas price could vary daily, but it depends on how far we travel throughout the day. Either way, it will never exceed $125 for a full day and $75 for a half.

Will all of my fishing needs be provided?

Outside of a current Minnesota fishing license, your fees include the Captain’s knowledge and a lifetime of experience, lures, bait, rods, reels, and water. Bring snacks and drinks if you want to snack throughout the day. Dress in layers, as the weather can change throughout the day.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Venmo, PayPal, and Check for your deposit reserving your date and time. We accept cash and checks the day of our departure.

What target fish will we fish for?

Target fish include Walleye, Crappie, Smallmouth Bass, and Northern Pike.

Where will we meet Captain Jeff?
